The deep sea, generally defined as ocean below 200 meters, is Earth’s largest habitat, covering over 95% of its water volume in near-total darkness, extreme cold, and immense pressure. Despite these harsh conditions, it hosts immense, largely unexplored biodiversity, including unique, bioluminescent, and chemosynthetic organisms that rely on chemical energy rather than sunlight.
RELIK A-Z: Deep Sea Dreams — Fantasy Series
Dive into the depths with the Deep Sea Dreams: Fantasy collection — a limited series of educational trading cards where mythic ocean figures meet real deep-sea science.
Each card features original fantasy artwork paired with facts about the ocean world: from the crushing pressure of the Abyssal Zone to the glowing spectacle of bioluminescence, the history of SCUBA, and the art of Hokusai. Characters include the Nixie, the Seamaid, the Oceanid, and more — each one a gateway into a world that covers over 60% of our planet and remains largely unexplored.
Part of the RELIK A-Z Creativity Card system, each card carries points, rarity levels, and category tags that connect to the larger RELIK universe.
