Djinn (or jinn) are sentient, invisible, supernatural beings in Islamic theology and Arabian folklore created from “smokeless fire”. Existing alongside humans in a parallel dimension, they possess free will to choose between good and evil, can shape-shift, and are accountable for their actions. They are not immortal, they marry, and they can be malevolent or benevolent.
