Astral projection, or astral travel, is an intentional or spontaneous out-of-body experience (OBE) where a person’s consciousness, or “astral body,” temporarily detaches from the physical body to travel in an astral plane. It is often described as a spiritual journey that can lead to personal growth, decreased fear of death, and a heightened sense of self-awareness.
