I’m Regina Smith. My project came to me out of a very real human emotion: fear.
I started working in AI right at the beginning when it became available for public use and I haven’t looked back. Everything you see, hear and perhaps eventually touch is made using generative AI. Except me. OK. Me too… Maybe.
I’m scared for the human race. I believe that we’re going backwards and this is an all-hands-on-deck proposition.
Being empathetic is important because it fosters personal and professional relationships, improves communication, and promotes prosocial behaviors and cooperation. Empathy builds trust, a sense of belonging and teamwork, leading to better outcomes in various aspects of life; from healthcare and leadership, to daily interactions and community well-being.
